Wide main strap is adjustable with a brass buckle. Overall length of the holster to the top strap where it fits on your shoulder is 24 inches. I have no 7 inch colt but I think that would also fit but it will be just an inch higher than the pistol shown. Shown is a colt not included decoy pistol with a 4 and 1/2 inch barrel. The nylon straps are pretty much stretched out and the rear of the holster has 2 slots where they ran a belt through it to keep it secure from flopping. Holster is all original and hand floral carved. This is a good old marked Heiser shoulder holster that has the HHH Heiser Denver mark on it with the numbers 225 on the back.
